Marina Bay Sands Singapore  Introduction

Marina Bay Sands is Asia’s most spectacular entertainment destination consisting of three towers, each with 55 storeys of hotel rooms. On its opening in 2010, it was billed as the world’s most expensive casino property. It is located in the heart of Singapore’s CBD and has over 2500 hotel rooms, casinos, restaurants, meeting and exhibition centres, theatres and a luxurious shopping experience. It also has the world’s largest rooftop Infinity pool, award-winning dining and boasts one of the world’s largest Swarovski crystal chandeliers.

The Casino at Marina Bay has 15000 square metres of gaming space spread across four levels and is home to over 600 table games and 1600+ slots, making it one of the largest casinos globally.

This magnificent splendour also has Skypark with a capacity of 3902 people and the magnificent 150 ft infinity swimming pool set on top of the world’s largest public cantilevered platform. The theatre hosted the Riverdance performance, The Lion King, and Cirque Eloize. An indoor skate rink that uses artificial ice and Marina Bay Sands has seven celebrity chef restaurants Justin Quek, Gordon Ramsay, Wolfgang Puck and Tetsuya Wakuda.

The crystal pavilions are anchored by an Apple Store and the world’s largest Louis Vuitton boutique both located on the floating island connected to the retail division via an underwater tunnel.

Popularity

The Towers of the Marina Bay Sands have appeared on numerous episodes of the Amazing Race including the Asian, Australian, American and Israeli seasons, all of which featured a tightrope walk between the two towers. The Towers have also featured in the 2015 version of the video game Call of Duty Black Ops 3, the trailer of Independence Day and Resurgence. Those who have watched the blockbuster Crazy Rich Asians will recall seeing it in a few scenes. Marina Bay Sands Singapore is a man-made wonder with every conceivable luxury available.
