MGM Grand Casino Las Vegas is a hotel and Casino located on the Las Vegas Strip in Nevada. It’s the largest single hotel in the US with 6852 rooms. When it opened its doors in 1993, it was the largest hotel globally and the largest Casino in Clark County, which occupies 15,930 square meters.

The MGM Grand Casino is located on the Tropicana and was originally the Golf Club Motel’s property site during the 1960s.

Media and Film History of the MGM Grand

The MGM Grand Casino was one of the casinos robbed by Danny Ocean and his crew in the 2001 film Ocean Eleven. Clark Griswold and his family also enjoyed a Keno game in the MGM Grand Casino in the movie Vegas Vacation. The old entrance was also featured in Casino and also featured in the Amazing Race 15 and 24.

The MGM Grand Casino was also one of the many casinos at which the MIT Blackjack Team gambled in the book Bringing Down The House.
